#TTOT Shout Outs! Topic: Ecotourism

It’s time to get grounded in #TTOT this week, as the keen, green tweeting machines that are the Travel Talk on Twitter collective shoot the breeze about ecotourism. We’re making it a mission to understand our emissions and keep our excursions on the sustainable side. Granted, some are probably better at this than others…but be safe in the knowledge that we’re all trying to reduce our footprints by doing more than slipping on some undersized shoes. After all, didn’t one wise frog once say, ‘It’s not easy being green’?

The questions this week were:

Q1. What’s one simple thing a traveller can do to be more sustainable while traveling?

Q2. What was your most memorable ‘eco’ experience?

Q3. What does ecotourism mean to you?

Q4. How do you reduce your ‘footprint’ when you travel?

Q5. What´s real ‘eco’ for you, and what´s only ‘green-washing’ by service providers in order to sell more?
