#TTOT Shout Outs! Topic: Ultimate Travel Tunes

We’re so excited and we just can’t hide it! #TTOT got down and funky today, as movers and shakers all over the world sung the praises of their personal music tastes. From the melodious to the odious, by way of Rebecca Black and back again, we’ve composed a list of some of the more harmonious answers to the key questions posed this week. If only we could refrain from the music puns…

The questions this week were:

Q1. What is the one song that immediately makes you want to hit the road?

Q2. During your travels, which country’s music stood the most and got you dancing to the local beat?

Q3. Do you have a particular travel playlist? What does it include?

Q4. Do you buy local music when you travel? How do you choose what to buy?

Q5. What song instantly takes you back to somewhere on your travels – and where is that place?

To hear the #TTOT universe's top tunes, just click the pic!

The ‘Follow The Feet’ Shout Out for gingerly approaching the dance-floor.

@MalloryOnTravel: Have you seen me dance? I make “Happy Feet” look like Fred Astaire.

The ‘Herr Raising Adventure’ Shout Out for making your mind up.

@GI_Joshi: I’m always tempted but never follow through, however I did go crazy on iTunes after going to Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf.

The ‘Bold As Brass’ Shout Out because you Mexican’t argue with that.

@ooharradventure: Tried to haggle with a Mariachi band member for his trumpet in Spain. He wasn’t having any of it.

The ‘Bringing Up The Rea’ Shout Out for jamming along.

@grownupgapyear: Yes, it’s ok now, but ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ started to sound a bit ironic when I’d been at a standstill for 6hrs!

The ‘Strum and Strummer’ Shout Out for trying to pluck someone out of a crowd.

@qualityhunters: You might have seen a friend of our play there. Was there a guy with a mandolin?

The ‘Maori On My Wayward Son’ Shout Out for royally random moments.

@Boz23: There’s nothing in the world like a spontaneous haka. I saw a kapahaka group at the Edinburgh Tattoo – INCREDIBLE!

The ‘Hook, Line and Stinker’ Shout Out for sloppy poppy seconds.

@misspallen: Aqua’s greatest hits collection and Dr. Hook were played non-stop in Canada – bizarre choices!

The ‘Ab-original Gangsters’ Shout Out for piping up.

@Real_Gap: Anything that tickles our fancy. We actually became quite attached to the didgeridoo in Aus!

The ‘Scary Situation’ Shout Out for stopping right now, thank you very much.

@WFTristan: Weird exp. in bar – Spice Girls came on – whole place started dancing – song ended – everyone sat down as if nothing had happened.

The ‘Spotted! Dick!’ Shout Out because we just don’t have the heart to tell you you’re wrong.

@beatthebrochure: There is nobody cooler than the Peter Pan of Pop, Sir Cliff Richard.

The ‘Now Cruising at Nineties Latin Beats’ Shout Out for plane-ly excellent ideas.

@ALON_SY: They could do the in-flight safety demonstration Macarena style.

And if all that nonsense wasn’t enough, we’ve got an extra special something for #TTOT lovers this week. May we present YOUR definitive playlist of Ultimate Travel Tunes!
